Calton is a Ph.D. student in the UC Berkeley Materials Science and Engineering Department, as well as a member of the Liquid Sunlight Alliance (LiSA). He earned his B.S. in MSE at UC Berkeley. He is investigating the dynamics of the electrical double layer and understanding the role of electrolyte in electrocatalysis.
