Research in the group of Adjunct Professor and LBNL Senior Staff Scientist Joel W. Ager comprises three intertwined themes:
- Materials and systems for solar to fuel conversion
- Fundamentals of carrier transport in semiconductors and discovery of new phenomena
- Discovery of new transparent conductors for photovoltaic and opto-electronic applications
Currently, we are especially focused on:
- Photoelectrochemistry and Photoelectrochemical Carbon Dioxide Reduction
- Electrochemistry Fundamentals and Microenvironment Kinetics
- Water Splitting
