Iva is a Ph.D. student in the UC Berkeley Materials Science and Engineering Department. She is happy to be working on electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction as part of the Liquid Sunlight Alliance (LiSA). She earned her B.A. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Cornell University, with concentrations in Physics and Environment & Sustainability. Outside of her research, she enjoys traveling, food (both cooking and exploring different cuisines), weightlifting, running, and wheel-throwing gifts for her friends and family.
